This service option offers a fully custom floral plan, a curated selection of flowers in a chosen color palette, and carefully selected vases and accoutrements that complement.

  • A thorough design deck with reference and inspiration images for each H&S deliverable

  • Two rounds of feedback/revisions to design deck

  • Access to H&S rental inventory (vases & vessels, installation structures, wedding ceremony chuppah/arches, candleholders, etc.)

  • On-site team for delivery, installation, and break-down

elopements & small events

For small dinner parties, casual weddings, DIY weddings, special life events, and elopements.

This is for clients who desire good design, but don't require large installations or multiple design iterations.

Our A La Carte Package includes:

  • Ability to request colors, but not flower varieties

  • One page mood board to convey overall aesthetic visually once signing on

  • Two scheduled phone meetings: design kick-off call once signing on and a final check-in call 6 weeks before your wedding date. 

  • Flower deliverables such as: bouquets, boutonnieres, centerpieces, bud vases, statement arrangements for larger moments like a bar or welcome table.

  • choice of `white ceramic or glass vases

  • Ability for client to pick up from the H&S studio in Newburgh or option for delivery by H&S to venue.

Our A La Carte Package does not include:

  • floral installations that require on-site labor (such as an arch, chuppah, hanging florals, or large aisle arrangements)

  • candles

  • access to the H&S rental inventory (vases & vessels, installation structures, wedding ceremony chuppah/arches, candleholders, etc.)

  • on-site labor to set flowers in final locations (reception tables, etc)

  • breakdown service to collect flowers and vessels at the end of the event (so send guests home with flowers at the end of party!)

This service delivers fresh floral arrangements that both reflect and enhance the mood and aesthetic of a space, creating a welcoming ambiance.

This package includes:

  • Items such as small arrangements or bud vases for simple tabletops, small side table or shelf arrangements, large focal pieces for consoles or front desks

  • Fresh flowers delivered weekly or bi-weekly

  • Seasonal flower selections throughout the year and optional dried arrangements throughout winter

  • Direction on proper flower care for long-lasting blooms

i’m getting married! how does this work?

It starts with a meeting, whether it be in our studio, via phone, or Google video call. Our floral arrangements will be a reflection of the client, so we take the time to get to know you, as well as understand your inspiration and priorities for your event. We listen carefully to how you describe the feeling and aesthetic of your special event.  While we welcome the images you may have collected, we rely mostly on your words and descriptions to create customized arrangements to fit your unique vision. Post conversation, we will put together an itemized quote and one-page customized mood board for your visual inspiration. It usually takes about a week for us to put a proposal together.

From there, if you think we’re a good fit, we then require a signed contract and 50% deposit to secure services.

After that, we get into the fun design process!  We put together a much more thorough design deck with image inspiration for each H&S deliverable.  Our service includes two rounds of feedback and revisions to make sure that the designs fit your vision, and we’re confident in what we’re delivering the day of the event.

Do you have a minimum for weddings? How much do wedding flowers cost?

Our minimum for full-service wedding floral design is $10,000 for 2024 and $15,000 for 2025, though we do make a few exceptions if you have a small guest list. Most of our weddings fall between $20,000 and $60,000. Please see our small order service for smaller budget options.

What locations do you service?

Our studio is located in Newburgh, NY. Our main service areas include the Hudson Valley/Catskills region, NYC, Connecticut, and western Massachusetts. We have experience in destination events and have serviced places such as Utah and California, though do know there are travel fees associated with this.

Where do you source your flowers?

Since our education and experience is in environmental studies and agriculture, these concepts permeate our business philosophy. During the growing season, we source most, if not all, of our flowers from Hudson Valley flower farmers. During other seasons or in special circumstances, we look to partner with other small, environmentally-minded growers in the United States and abroad and for flowers with Veriflora, Rainforest Alliance, Bloomcheck, or MPS certification.
